## Who runs it

LeakWatch is built and operated by Gabriel Diyan, alone. There is no team behind it and no company backing it — see [/about](/about) for the full story, including what the scanner does and does not do.

LeakWatch is unrelated to any other service using a similar name — in particular leakwatch.org, the Leakwatch company based in Valenciennes, and the open-source scanner published under the same word on GitHub. Nothing published by those projects comes from here, and nothing published here comes from them.

## Intellectual property

The LeakWatch name, logo, interface and editorial content are the property of the publisher. Detection results concerning third-party repositories are factual observations of publicly available data and are handled as described in the [privacy policy](/privacy).
